The Laurel Health Centers wish you and yours a happy, healthy new year! As we prepare to welcome 2023, we look forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary, but first, we are reflecting with gratitude on what our hardworking team has accomplished this year.
Some of our most exciting projects this year included:
- The launch of our new dental office: Laurel Dental – Towanda
- Achieving Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation for our dedication to best practices and preventive population health measures
- Earning national recognition from HRSA for enhancing access and reducing healthcare disparities
- Winning PACHC’s prestigious Coverage Champion APEX Award for our free insurance enrollment assistance, championed by our certified application counselor Carla Westlake
- Successful community outreach to deliver important health screenings like COVID-19 testing and blood pressure checks.
As a reminder, all Laurel Health offices will be closed in observance of New Year's Day on Monday, January 2, 2023 due to the holiday falling on a Sunday. Additionally, the Wellsboro Laurel Health Center will close early at 12 pm on Saturday, December 31 for New Year's Eve.
