About Alison Hallinan:

Alison is committed to helping all patients receive the care they need and helping them stay healthy with personalized wellness plans.

“What I find most rewarding about medicine is being able to help others—to ease their pain or fear and to work together on improving their health," she shares. "I enjoy sharing preventive care and lifestyle resources to help my patients support their health outside the clinic. I approach medicine holistically with a focus on what are often coined as the six pillars of health: nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, loving relationships, and avoiding risky substances like tobacco.”

Alison is grateful to be able to fulfill her professional calling close to home. I’ve lived in Wellsboro at various times throughout my life and returned to this beautiful area to settle down with my fiancé.”

In her free time, she enjoys walking and hiking with her dog, camping, traveling, biking during the warm-weather months, and spending time with friends.

Education:

Alison earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois with a concentration on family medicine practice. She is also certified in plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine.

She began her medical career as a registered nurse and has prior experience treating patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including a background in intensive care where she treated critically ill patients.
