The Laurel Health Centers provide care you can count on. Our walk-in care service offers same-day treatment for pressing health concerns that need quick attention but aren't emergencies. If you have an illness, sprain, insect bite, or rash that doesn't warrant a trip to the ER, consider walk-in care.

WHEN SHOULD I USE WALK-IN CARE TREATMENT SERVICES?
Sometimes, patients have a health issue needing prompt attention that isn't an emergency, like a sprain, earache, or pink eye. Rather than waiting a few days for a primary care appointment or spending hours at the ER or express clinic, you now have the option to come into our Mansfield, Troy, and Wellsboro Laurel Health Centers for same-day diagnosis and treatment.
Walk-ins see a provider whose schedule is dedicated specifically to walk-in care that day to ensure they are seen in a timely manner without impacting appointment times for scheduled patients. We can see patients of all ages on a walk-in basis.

Please note that our walk-in care hours may be different from other services provided in the same facility, such as primary care, chiropractic services, or dentistry. Walk-ins will wait to be seen until a walk-in care provider is available.
CONDITIONS TREATED AT WALK-IN CARE
Similar to an express clinic, our walk-in care services are designed to treat acute, non-emergency conditions. They are not intended for routine follow-up care, wellness visits like physicals, or emergency care. If you or a loved one suspect you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency like a heart attack, stroke, or seizure, please go to the closest emergency department or call 911.
Conditions our walk-in care service treats include:
- Coughs and sore throat, including strep throat
- COVID-19 symptoms
- Rashes and sores
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Colds and Influenza (flu)
- Minor burns and cuts
- Tick and insect bites
- Muscle strains and sprains
- Pink eye
- Earaches
- Nosebleeds
- Allergy, asthma, and COPD exacerbations (flare-ups)*
*We help manage flare-up symptoms, but walk-in care does not treat breathing emergencies. If someone is having trouble breathing, always seek emergency care instead.
