Christian Herbster, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant that sees patients of all ages at our Elkland and Lawrenceville Laurel Health Centers. He is passionate about preventive wellness care and patient advocacy to assure everyone receives the healthcare they need quickly and safely.
About Christian Herbster:
“Growing up in a smaller town, I experienced difficulties finding and maintaining appropriate medical care. I always knew I wanted to serve a community while being a dedicated member of it. I seek to provide exceptional care to ensure patients are fully supported while they’re in my care by advocating for my patients and equitable healthcare both inside and outside the clinic.”
Christian is a National Health Service Corps Scholar with experience in both inpatient and outpatient care settings, including physical therapy, rehabilitation, family medicine, nutrition & dietetics, inpatient care, and orthopedics.
“Laurel Health’s mission is a great fit, as I have participated with multiple healthcare organizations advocating for fair, equitable healthcare for everyone. I am especially passionate about empowering patients to take control of their health through routine examinations and wellness exams,” he shares.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, exercising, and spending time with his family. Christian also volunteers with the American Red Cross and is an active member of multiple Physician Assistant societies committed to improving access to quality healthcare services across the nation.

Education:
Christian received his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in Scranton, PA, where he served as vice president of The National Society of Leadership and Success.
