Clinical Specialties & Areas of Focus: 

Tami Hite is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) who is seeing patients of all ages as part of our walk-in care program at the Mansfield Laurel Health Center. She focuses on treating acute conditions, such a cold and flu, rashes, UTIs, strep throat, sprains, bug bites, and minor injuries. 

About Tami Hite, CRNP:

Tami brings decades of medical experience to the team with a background in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She finds it both challenging and rewarding to “connect the dots” of symptoms and examination findings in order to form an accurate diagnosis and develop a plan of care to optimize the patient's overall and health and well-being.

“I was inspired to become a nurse at a very young age. Caring for the health and wellbeing of others is not simply a career choice, it is the core of my being,” she shares. “My goal is to guide patients to help them live their best life by setting attainable goals and providing them with the education and tools necessary to achieve those goals.”

She has also served as an EMT for Western Alliance Emergency Services and as a clinical nursing instructor for the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Education:

Tami earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
