About Dayle Steves, MSW: 

Dayle Steves, MSW, is a Laurel Behavioral Health care coordinator and works with patients in Tioga and Bradford Counties. She supports patients who are managing multiple care needs and helps them more easily access care and community resources. She works hand-in-hand with staff across Laurel Health to support holistic patient care that addresses each patient’s unique physical, mental, and socioeconomic needs.

“I wanted a meaningful and rewarding career where I could work directly with individuals, families, and communities affected by poverty, discrimination, abuse, addiction, and mental illness," Dayle shares. "Effective behavioral health care coordination is important for ensuring quality care, and the most rewarding aspect of this role is the satisfaction of helping others in my home community.”

Dayle focuses on coordinating care between departments to create more seamless transitions between services and to ensure patients have the resources they need to keep appointments and stay on track with their personalized care plans. She also connects patients with additional community resources that can improve access to care and health outcomes, such as supplemental food programs, transportation assistance, and local support groups.

In her free time, Dayle enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, baking, spending time with family, and adventures with her black labrador puppy Mabel.
