About Quintin Ireland, MD:
Dr. Quintin Ireland is committed to ensuring rural communities like ours have access to quality, comprehensive healthcare close to home.
“My desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s health across all stages of their lives—from infancy to elder care—led me to pursue family medicine, which allows me to be in the heart of the community offering compassionate, consistent, continuous, and comprehensive care,” he shares. “I grew up in a small town of 6,000 people and wanted to come back to a rural area to live and work. I fell in love with Laurel Health and this beautiful area on my visits to Tioga, Sullivan, and Bradford Counties.”
His decision to practice in the field of family medicine specifically was driven in part by wanting the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and caring for those patients at every age.
“Part of what makes family medicine so special to me is the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with my patients, understanding not just their medical histories but their stories, values, and goals,” Dr. Ireland explains. “Whether it's managing chronic conditions, guiding preventive care, or simply being a trusted listener to truly understand their needs, the holistic nature of family medicine aligns with both my professional values and personal calling.”
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking, snowboarding, skiing, rock climbing, traveling, sports, spending time with his family, and meeting new people. He hopes to try his hand at gardening as he settles into the area.
