Laurel Health deeply values our employees’ loyalty and dedication, and we are incredibly lucky to have many long-standing employees who offer invaluable leadership and experience to our team. One of the ways we show our appreciation is recognizing years of service, awarded in five-year increments. 

Laurel Health recently held a special recognition dinner at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts in Wellsboro for milestone honorees to socialize and celebrate together. Each employee received an award from our executive leadership team in acknowledgement of their outstanding service and dedication to Laurel Health then enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Beck's Bistro.

Each Laurel Health employee has their own unique work anniversary based on their hire date, so milestone recognitions have traditionally been held individually across the year. Laurel Health's leadership wished to foster a greater sense of connection between colleagues and revisited how we celebrate these milestones.

After discussing employee recognition with staff, our team developed a yearly recognition event for commemorating milestone anniversaries collectively. This provides our employees an opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments together and assure the entire leadership team is available to thank and award to each honoree. Pictured below are photos of the staff members honored for a 2023 milestone recognition, celebrating with their friends, families, and co-workers.
