Laurel Health Saturday Clinic Moves to Mansfield This August

By Kristy Warren

Laurel Health is retooling its Saturday clinic hours to better meet patient demand. In response to patient volumes and to better centralize weekend access across the system’s entire footprint, our Saturday clinic will move from Wellsboro, PA, to Mansfield, PA, this August and will now welcome walk-ins.

Beginning August 3, 2024, Laurel Health will offer walk-in care for patients of all ages on Saturdays from 8 am – 1 pm at the Mansfield Laurel Health Center, located at 416 South Main Street in Mansfield, PA.

Laurel Health’s weekend clinic is designed to address acute health issues presenting outside standard hours of operation. It assures patients can be seen and treated quickly for non-emergencies that are still time-sensitive without taking an unnecessary trip to the ER. The walk-in clinic is open to everyone.

No appointment is needed to utilize any of Laurel Health’s walk-in services, including the Saturday walk-in clinic in Mansfield.

Laurel Health Walk-in Care Services

Walk-in care is designed to treat health issues that are pressing but not life-threatening emergencies, such as:

  • Minor cuts or burns
  • Sprains
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Tick and insect bites
  • Rashes
  • Pink eye
  • Earaches
  • Illnesses like colds, strep throat, COVID-19, or flu.

Laurel Health’s walk-in care service is not intended for routine wellness care unless you are attending a designated wellness walk-in care event like Laurel Health's walk-in care physical days in August. Typically, wellness exams and screenings like physicals, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, routine immunizations, and well child checks are scheduled with a family medicine provider. Same-day access is available. Simply schedule a wellness visit with the Laurel Health office of your choice

Walk-in care is not appropriate for emergency care or life-threatening emergencies like trouble breathing, heart attack, stroke, overdoses, serious burns, or deep wounds. Anyone who may be experiencing a medical emergency should always call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
