Laurel Health Debuts New Towanda Laurel Health Center

Laurel Health is excited to announce that its brand-new Towanda Laurel Health Center is now open for business, located at 410 Main St., Suites 101 to 104, in Towanda, PA. The Towanda Laurel Health Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It offers comprehensive family medicine, primary care, mental and behavioral health services, acute care, women’s health, and chronic condition management. New patients of all ages are being accepted at 570-266-5882.

 

A dedicated patient parking lot is available behind the building in addition to street parking directly in front of the facility. The center is led by a team of experienced providers, including Beth Geiger, FNP-C, DNP, Daniel Branzburg, CRNP, and Shannon Nobles, PMHNP-BC.

Beth Geiger, FNP-C, DNP, is certified registered family nurse practitioner. She brings over 15 years of nursing expertise to the team with a passion for women’s health and wellness care. Her clinical background includes emergency medicine, acute inpatient care, family medicine, and long-term care, all of which have provided her in-depth experience treating a wide variety of healthcare needs in patients of all ages. Her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is the highest level of education for nurse practitioners and is designed to cultivate nursing leaders who collaborate with their teams on patient care strategies and policies. Beth enjoys working together with her patients to develop and maintain realistic healthy habits that will improve their quality of life.

 

Daniel Branzburg, CRNP, is a certified registered nurse practitioner, and he has a background in family medicine and primary care with additional clinical experience in inpatient and home health settings. He is especially passionate about preventive wellness care to help patients live healthier lives and enjoys the detective work of investigating how everything fits together to create the big picture of patients’ well-being. Branzburg was drawn to primary care because of the difference it can make in a patient’s life, especially when it comes to intervening early to prevent illness and help people get better faster.

 

Shannon Nobles, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and she brings 30 years of nursing experience to the team. The growing need for mental health support inspired her to specialize in mental and behavioral health. She and Laurel Health system are committed to eliminating the stigma regarding mental health to assure patients feel comfortable accessing the services they need. Shannon Nobles provides comprehensive therapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management. She specializes in treating a wide array of mental and behavioral health conditions, and she is especially passionate about treating trauma.

 

Laurel Health commemorated the grand opening of the Towanda Laurel Health Center on August 7, 2024, as part of its National Health Center Week celebration with a dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting featuring executive leadership, legislative representatives, local community leaders, providers, and staff.

As a federally qualified community health center (FQHC), the Towanda Laurel Health Center is committed to caring for all patients regardless of their ability to pay and offers a sliding fee program which provides financial support to income-eligible families to help with coverage gaps, co-pays, medications, and deductibles. Laurel Health’s certified application counselors also provide free enrollment assistance for financial aid programs and help patients compare insurance plans on the state marketplace to find affordable coverage that meets their individual healthcare needs.
