Share Your Love of Bradford County with Laurel Health’s Photo Contest
By Kristy Warren
The Laurel Health Centers invite anyone who lives or works in Bradford County, PA to enter our countywide photo contest celebrating the area’s beautiful landscapes, landmarks, and community. The photo contest theme is “What makes Bradford County special” and is open to each artist’s interpretation regarding nature, culture, wildlife, local hallmarks, history, and community connections.
Our goal is to highlight the beauty of Bradford County and the talent of local artists while also surrounding patients with uplifting photos of their hometowns. Winning photo submissions will be featured throughout Laurel Health’s office locations in Bradford County, including the Troy Laurel Health Center and Laurel Dental Troy offices at 45 Mud Creek Rd., in Troy, PA, and our three offices in Towanda, PA: Laurel Dental Towanda at York Avenue, the Towanda Laurel Health Center at 410 Main St., and Laurel Dental Towanda at Progress Plaza on Elizabeth St.
Laurel Health is accepting photo contest submissions now through March 1, 2025. Winners will be contacted following final review of all submissions and then announced on Laurel Health’s website and social channels. All selected photography will be professionally framed by Laurel Health and displayed with credited nameplates featuring the name of the artwork and artist. Winners will also receive prizes.
Participants are welcome to submit multiple photos for contest consideration. Photos should be submitted in the highest resolution possible to assure they can be appropriately scaled for professional printing without blurring or pixelation. Artists retain all copyrights to their photos; if selected, the winners agree to have their photo displayed at a Bradford-based Laurel Health office.
Entries will be collected using a secure Google Drive folder to accommodate large file sizes and multiple submissions. Participants must include their full name and the name of the artwork in the filename when uploading to the Google Drive folder (e.g., Jane Doe - Barn at Sunset.jpg or John Smith - Wildflowers.jpg). This assures every submission is easily identifiable. If Laurel Health cannot determine who uploaded a photo, it will not be eligible for the contest (e.g., a file submitted with the name “IMG_033” cannot be identified and will not be eligible).
