Joins the Laurel Health Centers

Mandy Cunningham, certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), has joined the Laurel Health Centers and is seeing patients of all ages. She provides same-day care at the Elkland Laurel Health Center, located at 103 Forestview Dr. in Elkland, PA, and treats acute issues at Laurel Health’s walk-in care programs in Wellsboro (7 Water St., Wellsboro, PA) and Mansfield (416 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA).
Cunningham is board certified in family medicine and treats patients of all ages. She specializes in otolaryngology, which is the diagnosis and treatment of head / neck issues, particularly those affecting the ears, nose, throat (ENT). Her clinical background also includes working in cardiac surgery and critical care medicine.
From a very young age, Cunningham felt called to work with and care for others. “I love science, medicine, and helping to make a difference in the lives of my patients,” she shares. “I enjoy hands-on procedures, working through complex medical issues, and making meaningful contributions to my community.”
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University in State College, PA, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Cunningham is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and American Academy of Otolaryngology. She is also a 12-time recipient of patient-nominated recognition programs honoring her for going above and beyond to deliver exceptional healthcare.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, running, and spending time with her husband, two children, and their family pets.
