To expand dental services in Tioga County, Ollock Dental Group officially joined the Laurel Health Centers this February as Laurel Dental – Blossburg, located at 116 Seymour St. in Blossburg. This partnership will allow our combined team to provide more services to patients through a sliding fee scale to ensure everyone receives the high-quality dental care they deserve.

Chiropractor Dr. Steven Heffner Joins the Laurel Health Centers

The Laurel Health Centers’ chiropractic team is excited to welcome Steven Heffner, DC to the Laurel Health family. He will be seeing patients at the Elkland Laurel Health Center and the Laurel Health & Wellness Center, located at 40 West Wellsboro St. in Mansfield. Dr. Heffner has 35 years of work rehabilitation and chiropractic care experience to address and improve mobility issues, chronic pain, and joint health.

COVID-19 Vaccine Guidelines Expand

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has updated its COVID-19 vaccine rollout guidelines to expand the first phase, known as Phase 1A. Laurel Health is aware of these updates and is coordinating with community partners to receive and distribute vaccines quickly and efficiently as they become available. Be assured, we have been working hard behind-the-scenes for months to develop our rollout plan and are committed to ensuring our community members receive the vaccine as soon as possible. Laurel Health will reach out to first-phase patients directly to schedule appointments upon receiving additional doses.

Laurel Health Receives First Shipment of COVID-19 Vaccine

As Coronavirus COVID-19 vaccines deploy across the United States, we understand that you may be anxious to know more about when the vaccine will be available to you and your loved ones. We can assure you that Laurel Health is coordinating with community partners to distribute vaccines as efficiently and quickly as possible. We have received our first shipment of COVID-19 vaccine and are currently vaccinating frontline healthcare workers in Phase 1A. The Laurel Health Centers are working diligently around-the-clock to prepare our COVID-19 vaccine rollout to our patients and community and will reach out to patients when ready to move into the next phases.
