George Ann Foreman, AG-CRNP Joins Wellsboro Laurel Health Center

Laurel Health is pleased to announce that George Ann Foreman, adult-gerontology certified registered nurse practitioner (AG-CRNP), has joined the Wellsboro Laurel Health Center, located at located at 7 Water St. in Wellsboro, PA where she is accepting new patients with a focus on older adults and healthy aging.

 

George Ann is passionate about nursing and brings a wealth of veteran experience from over 30 years of delivering quality patient care and teaching nursing students. She specializes in managing chronic health conditions and promoting wellness as we age. 

 

Laurel Health provides a wide range of geriatric and gerontology services focused on helping older adults live their healthiest lives. From wellness and prevention to diagnostic care and support, our gerontology services include:

  • Age-based screenings for blood pressure, bone density, cholesterol, glucose, hearing, vision, cancer, mental health, BMI, and more

George Ann is accepting new patients with a focus on older adults at the Wellsboro LHC at 570-724-1010. “This is my hometown, and I am honored to contribute to the health and wellness of my community,” she shares.

My focus is on delivering holistic care to older adults and connecting patients with services that can improve their quality of life. I chose Laurel Health because I have always appreciated the quality of care provided here," she adds. Over the years, I have worked with many of Laurel Health’s providers, and I like the compassionate philosophy they share.”

 

George Ann always knew she wanted to work in a field helping others. She began her healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), working her way up the nursing ladder to adult-gerontology certified registered nurse practitioner (AG-CRNP). Over the course of her career, she has earned her licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) designations.

 

She received her Master of Science in Nursing and post-master’s certification in adult gerontology from Regis College in Massachusetts. George Ann has also served as a clinical instructor for nearly 20 years, teaching students in the nursing programs at Mansfield University and the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Her academic responsibilities have included teaching clinical coursework, developing lesson plans, evaluating student performance, and coordinating clinical rotations.

 

In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to concerts, and spending time with her grandkids.
